Mommy & Me

Daddy went to the windy city for work this past week (and took the computer). Mommy and me had a lot of fun together though. I learned how to freeze dance with mama in the living room. We got invited into a big kid (2-5 year old) class and learned how to play kickball. I kicked the ball every time! It was tough running the bases though. The big kids were FAST.

On the last night Daddy was gone, we were lazy and watched Monsters Inc (my FAVORITE movie) with munchies for dinner. I don't know why they call Sullivan 'Kitty'... I think he looks like a moo cow.

It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad Daddy is back. He's a much better jungle gym than Mommy.

Wheaton Regional

We've spent most of this weekend at a new park that we've found. Its AWESOME!! We went on a Choo Choo train and saw a carousel. I decided on the train instead of the carousel... I'm still not quite over the last carousel ride.

I was adventurous enough to go check out the tree houses. I can do the ladders all by myself.

The botanical garden part of the park even had a place for us kids to garden. I met some friends there too.

I learned how to herd geese.

There was a great path made of rocks. I couldn't pick any of them up though. It was quite frustrating.

After the gardening, playing, and herding I needed a little rest and yum yums.

Then I had enough energy to be "Super Baby" with Daddy on top of a big tree with a hole in the middle.

Its a great park. I can't wait to go back!

RRR

I've been working on getting some of the three Rs this holiday weekend - Reading, wRiting, and Relaxing.

I've been trying to learn about Mommy's work. Her Marine Community Ecology book is fascinating.

I love to draw!

Cuddling up to watch some cartoons.

New Friends

I've spent a lot of time talking to older boys across a fence.

I've been busy making friends with my neighbors Kirk and Shelby. I like to give them presents - grass and flowers. They like to blow bubbles for me.

I've been working on getting over the fence but haven't quite made it yet. I almost got high enough to get my foot over... then fell down. I give it less than a week before I figure it out.
