NYC and more grandparents

This weekend we took our first roadtrip - up to NYC to Auntie Anna's babyshower. Yep, more babies! I was an amazingly good girl in the car - it was mostly because Mommy and Daddy had a new snack that I LOVE! Auntie Anna looks great. I hung out with Uncle Masaya for a couple of hours. He was way more exciting (or at least the roof deck and the iPhone were more exciting) than Mommy & Daddy. Auntie Anna and Uncle Masaya will be great parents, though I think their furniture is too nice to have a baby running around.

Also I got to see Auntie Petra who gave me a great ABC present. I'm trying to use it all the time to drive Mommy and Daddy mad - just like you said - but it doesn't seem to be working. Apparently I should have gone home with you!

It took me a day or so to recover from the NYC trip, just in time for Grandma Aileen and Grandpa Ken to come visit. Today we're going to the carosel at Glen Echo Park... hopefully it doesn't keep raining!

Sounds like you had a a fabulous trip to New York. I didn't hear any loud screaming from your mom and dad; so, I guess you were a "good" girl on the trip. You'll get better...

The grass was like a jungle, it rains so much there... I'm glad we had a chance to blow bubbles on the back steps, but you need to learn to reach for them without falling on your face in the mud (oops, we didn't tell your dad about that did we?) Remember, just blow. It doesn't work when the bubble wand touches your lips.
