head held high

He's big and strong!!  He'll be crawling before we know it.  I can't wait to chase him around... he's pretty boring right now.

Swingers

My new swing in the front yard is the best!  I get to come home every day and go swing.

She blinded me with science

I was inspired by Sesame Street to do my first science project - planting seeds.  We planted some green beans, just like Jack and the Beanstalk.  Its not quite a beanstalk like Jack grew, but that's okay.  It has pretty white flowers... much better than being stepped on by a giant.

My portrait.
Mommy's picture of me and my beans right before we planted them in a pot outside.

Balancing baby... aka DSS

Baby Luke's Birthday

Its been a couple of weeks now, but on Aug 14th we took a mini road trip to Princeton to go to "baby Luke's" birthday party.  It was my very first party... and I LOVED IT!!

The birthday boy rocking out the maracas.
I was so good at the maracas, that I multi-tasked... rocking it out TWO ways!
They even had me lead the parade.
Daddy hid in the back with baby brother... there was a lot of singing silly songs and dancing.  Baby brother was really good the entire party.
They even blew bubbles INSIDE!!  So bad... but so fun!
Yummy pizza!  It was such a great party!  I want to go to baby Luke's party every weekend!  Thanks so much for inviting me.

Hanging out

We've actually been doing quite a bit but of course didn't have a camera or it ran out of batteries (the Mommy curse) - Mommy, Davin and I went to the old neighborhood block party to say hi to old friends.  We've had quite a few picnics, at the park and even on our front lawn. We also put up a swing in our tree in the front yard.  I get to go swing every night when I get home.  Despite all the fun, all we have are pictures of us being couch potatoes!  Sometimes crazy fun couch potatoes... but still on the couch/jungle gym.

Its always best to have snacks and a bunny when being lazy on the couch.

Baby brother has discovered his hands... and LOVES to eat them!

Daddy was playing with baby brother.  Lots of smiles!
I wanted to get in on the fun.  Aren't we all just too cute!?
Kisses for baby brother.
I'm not sure if baby brother was trying to kiss me back or eat me!
Oh yeah, Mommy was there too.

Labor Day Parade & Festival

So we didn't quite make it there for the parade, but it was still a great day!  I got a new T-shirt to support the Noyes Children's Library (the only public all children's library in the USA - and its in my town), a balloon, funnel cake, a sno-cone, and lots of stickers.  I was supporting every political candidate out there (the good thing about election time).  I even got a great sticker of an elephant.

Family picnic with a healthy main course - FUNNEL CAKE w/ EXTRA SUGAR!
did I mention the extra sugar?
I also got my face painted.  I held still like a good girl.  It tickled.
Baby brother hung out with Mommy while I got my face painted.
I got a pretty blue butterfly with pink spots.  NICE.
Then the real fun began - BOUNCIES!!  Tons of them.
Super slide bouncers.  The small one at the bottom of the stairs is me.  I had some trouble getting all the way to the top.  Daddy had to come help me.
All the better because we got to slide down together!
I could handle Mickey Mouse though.  Take that!
It was an exhausting but super fun day.

Correction

Correction... not one, not two but THREE molars coming in!!  The only good thing - its my last 3 baby teeth.

Couch potatoes

Its nice just hanging out on the couch.

Baby brother thinks I'm strange sometimes.

You  can never give or get too many kisses!
Its hard being lazy!

Chain Saw Massacre

The final product... plus lots of sore muscles

Cranky week

All of us kids in the Adams household are CRANKY!!  Baby brother got his first set of shots on Monday.  And I've actually got not one, but TWO new teeth coming in.   Oh the never ending whining...
