France Part Deux

I only had part of an afternoon to go exploring once the conference started. I hopped a bus to Villefranche Sur Mer - the old stopping ground of one of my co-workers. It was a cute little seaside town. I had a pastry and a glass of wine overlooking the bay, took a few pictures, and then it was back to work.

It seems fitting that for part two you (my parents) get pictures of a second lighthouse guarding Villefranche Sur Mer.

The town had lots of cute alley ways. The old town in Nice also had cute alley ways but they never got any light, which makes for bad pictures!

Can you find the bell?

Yes, we can find the bell -- hidden behind the upper window in the bottom picture. VERY cool framing on that photo. France is definitely a great place to visit, especially when you have time to lollygag and enjoy it with pastry and wine overlooking the waterfront!

Love the place. When do you go back?

Isn't that bell behind you reflecting so nicely in the window? I love the colors of the houses!

Thanks for another set of lighthouse pix. Dad says you need a longer lens, or you should have hiked around the bay to get closer...
