Cookie Cookie Cookie

We started getting in the holiday spirit when Grandma Aileen was here... something about having family around. We went to see the Mormon Temple lights (though Grandma got them confused with the Brookside Garden lights... maybe we can take you there next year!)

And we made holiday cookies!  I got to help mix and then cut them out and decorate them. Davin and I liked to eat the sprinkles... but some got on the cookies too.

Yum, yum.

The cookies look especially yummy. Maybe you can make some for us the next time we are there. We are making cookies with sprinkles for Christmas as well - that way your Aunt Erika can have some too...

I am going to remember that when we were putting sprinkles on cookies before supper, we told Davin he could not have a cookie (did we say yet?). The frosting needed to harden and a yummy lamb chop dinner was almost ready. Davin was told he could taste the sprinkles that didn't stick to the cookie. Then, when he was given a cookie for dessert, he carefully ate only the sprinkles! What a good listener and learner he is.
