Eastern Shore - Ocean City

This weekend we went to the beach. It was the first time I saw the Atlantic Ocean. It was all the first time I made a sand castle.

The hotel gave me my very own bucket and shovel.

It was a love/hate relationship though. I loved playing in the sand and making sand castles. I hated when the wind blew and the sand blasted into my legs. I also hated the water - it was COLD!!

Some boardwalk junk food made me feel much better. Nothing like dipping huge french fries in ketchup to make a 2 year old smile.

Luckily the hotel also had 3 pools - 1 indoor and 2 outdoor. So we got to go swimming in relatively warmer water. The next hotel in Virginia had a heated indoor pool... now that was NICE.

Heated Pool -- you are getting spoiled! I am glad to see that you like junk food. We do believe it is an American tradition (just don't do too much of it).

You'll have to come see the Pacific with your brother. You can decide if it's true that the Atlantic is warmer.
